Chinese Sweet and sour Stir Fried Vegetables

Your kids will love this!!


· 2 tablespoon oil

· 1⁄4 cup broccoli florets

· 1⁄4 cup julienned carrots

· 1⁄4 cups julienned French beans

· ¼ cup julienned baby corn

· ¼ cup julienned yellow bell pepper

· 1 ½ tbsp ginger garlic paste

· 3 tablespoons Pine-Zapple sauce

· 2 tsps soya sauce

· 1/2 tsp sugar

· 1tsp vinegar

· Salt as required

· 1 tbsp cornfour mixed with ¾ cup water


Heat wok over medium heat and add the oil. When hot, add the ginger garlic paste. When it sizzles add all the vegetables and stir fry for 2-3 mins till slightly tender. Add salt as per taste, the Pine-Zapple sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and the sugar. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Now add the corn flour mixture and stir fry for 2 more mins.

Shut off gas and serve with steamed rice.
